Between yesterday afternoon and today we managed to get the majority of the drywall/cement board put up in the basement bathroom. The rest of it will have to wait until we stick down the shower pan.
Our neighbor left his handy drywall square. It makes cutting easier, and is also good for mapping out where the studs are.
Soon to be shower.
The outside of the bathroom. This is the only finished part of the basement so it is a bit amusing to have a big blue box in the middle of a messy concrete and brick basement.

Wow! It's really neat to watch a room be created in a matter of a couple weeks - especially when you have to coordinate the help of neighbours and hired contractors! Are you using Aquaboard on the walls? I recognize the blue from the shelves at Home Depot :)
Yeah, it's the blue stuff ("Humitech") from Home Depot. It's supposed to be anti-mold and anti-water as opposed to the green stuff which is just anti-water.
We're lucky, our neighbour is a contractor :D so we managed to get a pretty good deal on the labor. I think next time we'll do the plumbing ourselves, busting the concrete was a bit much for us though!
